Technology Leadership
* Drive the strategic direction and vision for Broadband Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) and technology.
* Led and mentored a cross-functional team of engineers in developing and testing cutting-edge solutions.
* Expertise in WIFI, DOCSIS, GPON, and XGSPON standards.
* Develop and maintain a comprehensive technology roadmap aligned with business objectives.
* Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements to ensure our technology remains at the forefront.
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, product quality, operations and field to ensure seamless integration of broadband CPE technology within the overall product ecosystem and execute key initiatives.
* Manage relationships with key technology vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality components/software deliverables.
* Evaluate and select new vendors to enhance the technology stack and maintain a competitive edge in the market.
Development
* Manage the development, customization, and integration of software stacks related to Broadband CPE and supporting systems.
* Continued development of internal engineering tools used gather data on Broadband CPE
Testing and Certification.
* Test and certification of all broadband CPE and supporting systems.
* Implement and maintain robust testing processes to ensure the quality and reliability of our products.
* Evolve and expand automation testing frameworks for Broadband CPE
* Ensure seamless interoperability and performance optimization with our CPE solutions.
* Work closely with regulatory affairs teams to address compliance issues and support certification processes.
Quality and Performance
* Collaborate and direct with software engineers to optimize performance and enhance functionality.
* Continuously optimize CPE performance parameters to meet or exceed industry benchmarks and customer expectations.
* Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for CPE devices.
* Use operational feedback to iterate on product design, address performance issues, and enhance overall CPE quality.
* Engage with key customers to understand their evolving needs and incorporate feedback into the development process.
* Collaborate with crisis management teams to address unforeseen challenges and maintain operational continuity.
* Develop and uphold a customer-centric culture within the Broadband CPE Technology team, emphasizing responsiveness and a solutions-oriented approach.
*Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
*Minimum seven years in a leadership role within Broadband CPE technology
*Ability to think strategically and contribute to the development of the overall business strategy
*Strong leadership and team management skills
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*Demonstrate a deep commitment to customer satisfaction by putting customer needs at the forefront of all decision-making processes
*Knowledge DOCSIS, GPON, and XGSPON technologies
*Comprehensive understanding of WIFI standards, including 802.11ax, 802.11ac, and emerging WIFI technologies
*Demonstrated experience in implementing and managing automation testing processes
*Hands-on experience with Agile software development.
*Familiarity with Broadcom HW/SW SDK along with RDK-B
*Proficiency in designing and optimizing WIFI networks for maximum performance and reliability
*Experience in implementing WIFI security protocols and mitigating potential vulnerabilities
*Familiarity with WIFI mesh networks and advanced roaming capabilities.
*Understanding of RF (Radio Frequency) engineering principles
*Experience with TR-069 (CPE WAN Management Protocol) and TR-181 (Data Model for TR-069) specifications

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in New York State. Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $155,509.00-$222,156.00/year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
