Job description
Remedy Surgery Center is looking for a Certified Surgical Technologist. The Certified Surgical Technologist is responsible for preparing the operating room and sterile field for surgical
procedures by ensuring the surgical equipment is functioning properly and safely; by preparing sterile supplies,
instruments and equipment using sterile technique; anticipating the needs of surgical team based on knowledge of
human anatomy and pathophysiology and how they relate to the surgical patient and the patients procedure.
Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of a program for a surgical technology required. 1-3 years of experience in a surgical setting required. National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA), Certified Operating Room Technician (CORT), or Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
Previous acute care experience is strongly preferred. Ability to project a professional image. Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements. Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills. Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant. Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
