Overview

Job Summary  

As a quasi-governmental entity, this NJEDA internship is designed to prepare students for a fast-paced business environment while also offering experience working within the compliance functions of a governmental structure. The successful candidate for this competitive opportunity will gain an in-depth insight into the legal compliance activities surrounding the facilitative role of State government in expanding financial sources through assignments and research. 

This is a paid internship position intended for current graduate students enrolled in an accredited law school on a full or part time basis. The ideal Legal Compliance intern candidate has strong written and verbal communication as well as strong analytical skills and an interest in legal and regulatory compliance. The internship may be for the school year, summer, or both depending on the needs of the Authority and the availability of the candidate. The potential journey beyond this internship may include a post-graduation/pre-bar exam passage position with the Legal Compliance departments of the Authority.
