Job description
Job Title: QA Automation Tester (Hybrid onsite - Locals Only)
Location: Lansing, MI
Duration: 1 year with possible extension.
Pay Rate: $55/hr
Will close submissions on: 2/22 at 10am EST.
Interview Process: Virtual Interview via MS Teams video. Please use a laptop and be prepared to share a screen if asked. Use of headphones is strongly discouraged. A screenshot photo of the candidate will be required for any Teams interviews as well as a vendor present at the beginning of interview to validate the candidate.
Remote or On-site: Candidates MUST be local at time of submission. Hiring manager is not currently interested in candidates who will need to relocate to accept offer. Position will be hybrid in the office, 2 days a week. NO REMOTE ONLY OPTION.
Required Skills:
5 + years' experience using Selenium, Provar, or other automation testing tools.
5 + years' experience with manual testing.
Knowledge in Java
Overview of Position:
Create and design test planning or sprint planning documents.
Create and design the maintenance plan/test plan for automated test scripts.
Selecting or Identifying Areas/Test cases for Automation.
Making PowerPoint Presentations
Designing & Implementing Test Automation Strategy.
Organizing, monitoring defect management process.
Handling changes and conducting Regression Testing.
Review and approve all outcomes of the maintenance plan tasks within the automated tool.
Build environments {DEV, UAT, QAT, PRE-PROD} specific test suites with integrated application life cycle management.
Configure automated tool to create scripts based on standards and integrate with the application life cycle management tool.
Create the testing data management plan for the automated test scripts.
Publish results of automated test execution for release planning purposes.
Serve as an escalation point for experienced level staff in automated test scripts.
