Job description

We are a fully-remote friendly Insurance company that specializes in auto insurance products looking to add a Revenue Accountant to our team. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records pertaining to revenue recognition. You will assist with month-end, reconciliations, financial reporting, and more! What You Will Be Doing

- Thoroughly review and follow accounting policies and standards pertaining to revenue.
- Review contracts and identify revenue issues.
- Responsible for month-end journal entries and reconciliations in relation to revenue.
- Participate in the financial reporting process.

What You Need for this Position

- 3+ years of Revenue Accounting experience in the Insurance industry.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- Working knowledge of GAAP.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other applications.
