Summary
We have an opportunity for a Sr. Director - Enterprise Applications to join our Information Technology team. You will be responsible for managing IT solutions, front-end and back-end development and support, budget, team leadership and cross-functional collaboration, dev/ops planning, risk management/mitigation, API's, environment planning, vendor management, and supporting the business. We are seeking someone who is well versed in leading through influence, building relationships, gaining trust, creating, and driving process improvements. This position will lead solutions for the business, IT, and members by using their knowledge of the industry and technology to design holistic solutions to meet business and technical needs. This position is expected to have a key role in setting the strategy and influencing the roadmap for the company.
Description
- Deliver projects as defined by the PMO, including identifying risks & mitigations.
- Builds, leads, and coaches multiple delivery teams throughout project life cycles and IT SDLC.
- Leads all API/integration efforts
- Manages offshore vendor development teams
- Manages agile sprint planning and delivery
- Leads environment planning including UAT data refresh cycles
- Assist in team development while holding teams accountable for their commitments and removing roadblocks to their work.
- Lead the technical aspects of process and platform solutions, development, and operations - Web Platform (Sitecore), ERP/CRM platform (MS Dynamics 365)
- Provide profound technical advice and establish relationships with the business stakeholders to be recognized as their trusted advisor
- Identify opportunities for Toastmasters to create solutions that satisfy members and grow the business
- Continuously build knowledge of technical architecture, tools, systems, and languages used across various business partners to ensure clarity amongst all parties
Knowledge and Skills - Strong grasp of current technologies and business challenges.
- Proven experience in Agile/SCRUM/SAFe/Kanban environments.
- Strong knowledge and demonstrated experience in agile project management using Azure DevOps.
- Strong planning, organizational, leadership and execution skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work across programs and projects to ensure technical excellence in support of member experience.
- Proven experience in budget planning and resource management.
- Required Experience in ERP/CRM platforms
- Aptitude to establish a strong but flexible product management discipline in the IT Department.
- Extensive experience in software solution development and delivery lifecycle in an agile/SaaS/Azure cloud environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to make effective presentations and communicate technical concepts to non-technical clients.
- Experienced in obtaining results in a distributed and matrixed organization.
- Effective at communicating & building relationships with stakeholders and inspire/motivate staff.
- Proven ability to promote and drive change within an organization.
Requirements - Bachelor's Degree required, and Masters degree preferred.
- 13 years of work experience in IT
- Previous director positions required in IT.
- Proven experience with contract management and offshore vendors
- Demonstrable experience with architectural principles
- Strong SaaS experience and cloud computing, preferably within an Azure environment
- ERP/CRM platform management positions required, with MS Dynamics 365 preferred

- A proactive and driven individual with the capacity to adapt to solve problems, address challenges and enable progression
- Technical acumen and an ability to engage with developers, vendors, and product to develop solutions.
- Ability to present to senior leadership level and dive into business problems.
- Demonstrated ability to build, manage and grow teams to be high performing.
- Must be onsite in a hybrid work schedule (several days a week in Denver office)

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
This position pays $175,000.02 - $210,000.18 annually, or $6,730.77 - $8,076.93 bi-weekly. This position is exempt. This is a
hybrid role , with some days remote and some on-site, typically 2 per week, with expected in-office days of Tuesday and Wednesday at 9127 S. Jamaica St. Englewood, CO 80112. When working in the office, we follow CDC guidelines.
