A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A JOB PLACEMENT COORDINATOR
As a Job Placement Coordinator in human services, you are responsible for assisting each student and graduate of our school with finding employment based on their professional skills. You document and maintain a placement rate of at least 75% of the graduates in your assigned program. A main part of your job involves preparing students and graduates for the job search by informing them about job market updates, job opportunities, and salary levels. You maintain comprehensive records regarding each student and graduate's interaction with placement and job search.
In addition, you schedule, update, and follow up on all interviews. Using your exceptional customer service skills, you establish, develop, and maintain relationships with prospective employers. You also take part in our graduation ceremonies and serve as a strong role model to actively motivate students to put forth their best effort. Being able to use your sales, marketing, and customer service skills to make a positive impact on the lives of our students is why you love your job with our school!
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A JOB PLACEMENT COORDINATOR
Job placement or recruitment experience would be a plus but multiple factors will be taken into consideration. Do you have excellent verbal and written communication skills? Are you able to function as a productive member of a team? Can you respond to immediate situations and provide solutions? Are you able to maintain a positive and professional demeanor when engaging with others? Do you have exceptional follow-up and troubleshooting skills? WORK SCHEDULE
This full-time educational position in human services works Monday through Friday . Part-time shifts are available depending on the needs of the school.
