Staff Accountant to join their finance team at their North American headquarters.
As a
Staff Accountant in the Foods Division, you will play a crucial role in supporting various aspects of accounting. Reporting directly to the Controller, this position offers an opportunity to work with a well-versed hiring manager who has been with the organization for nearly ten years. This team values professional development and wants you to grow in this role!
Staff Accountant Responsibilities: - Execute core monthly close tasks, including journal entries and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to GAAP standards
- Manage intercompany accounts and billing processes to facilitate seamless transactions within the global network
- Participate in cash flow forecasting activities, providing valuable insights for financial planning and decision-making
- Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and timely provision of necessary documentation
- Contribute to the overall financial health of the Foods Division by actively engaging in various accounting activities and process improvements
Staff Accountant Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 2+ years of corporate accounting experience within a product-based company
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Professional demeanor with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Energetic and outgoing personality, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
