Your Impact:

Description of Duties:

The JWICS Engineer supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:

· Specialize in the administration and operations of a JWICS environment and performs cybersecurity compliance, operational sustainment, and other general IT tasks as needed to ensure continuous performance

· Build, maintain, and configure Windows workstations and thin clients

· Perform administrative operations and maintenance functions of hardware and software

· Troubleshoot system errors or user issues

· Track resource utilization and performance of systems

· Perform O&M patching and upgrades

· Coordinate efforts with other work centers and personnel to resolve Remedy Incidents related to systems and supporting infrastructure

· Provide SAP administration support as required

· Assist in other Systems Engineering/Administration duties to which may be assigned

This position can be filled in the National Capital Region (NCR).

This position is expected to pay $107,100 – $132,100 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

Basic Requirements:

Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and 10 years of general experience; Associate’s degree and 8 years of general experience; Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of general experience; Master’s degree and 4 years of general experience

· Must have 6 years of directly related experience

· Must have a current DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II Certification (e.g. CompTIA Security+ CE Certification)

· Must have an active DoD Top Secret with ability to obtain SCI Security Clearance

Desired Requirements:

· Experience with Systems Administration/Engineering experience managing Windows desktops, servers and office products

· Experience with HP workstation and thin clients

· Experience with Networking and Cybersecurity

· Experience with Remedy Incident and Change Management
