The Maven Group's client has an immediate need for a skilled Cyber Network Security Engineer to join their team in Springfield, VA.
The chosen candidate will be eligible for a flexible, hybrid schedule (2 days a week remote). This is a direct-hire role requiring a TS/SCI with a CI Polygraph. Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience with cybersecurity / network engineering for DoD, federal, or commercial clients
- 3+ years experience configuring routers/switches and network appliances; hands on experience racking and cabling routers/switches and network appliances.
- 2+ years experience with IP network administration and BGP, OSPF, QUAGGA, EIGRP dynamic routing protocols
- Direct experience with, and knowledge of the FedRAMP Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation process and the activities required to lead, obtain and maintain an Authority to Operate (ATO) for the DoD/Intelligence community.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with security tools and devices, including network firewalls, web proxy, intrusion prevention systems, vulnerability scanners, or penetration tools
- 2+ years experience with Linux administration
- AWS cloud certification or experience
- Ability to assist/guide project Site Reliability Engineers with network related hardware tasks
