Solid is on the lookout for a skilled and dedicated Project Manager to become a key player in our team. If you have a passion for technology and a desire to make a difference in the security industry, we want to hear from you!

As our Project Manager, you will take the helm of our installation projects, guiding them from conception through to completion. You'll work closely with our Operations Manager, System Engineer, Permitting Liaison, and field personnel to ensure every project is delivered on time, within budget, and exceeds our quality standards. Your leadership will be pivotal in maintaining the security and safety of our client's properties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of project management, including scope definition, budgeting, and scheduling, ensuring successful project execution.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for team members, stakeholders, and clients, maintaining clear and constant communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify and address issues and conflicts within the project team, devising effective solutions and contingency plans.
• Attend client meetings, identify needs, and develop business solutions, strengthening client relationships and business opportunities.
• Delegate tasks, estimate resources, and manage team dynamics, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any installation issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, inventory, and client feedback to continually improve our services.
• Stay updated with the latest industry standards and technologies to recommend improvements and enhancements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, management, or related field, and/or five or more years of project management experience
• Proven experience in project management, preferably within the fire alarm or electronic security systems industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and multi-disciplinary projects.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and budget requirements.
• A commitment to quality and a detailed understanding of project management tools and methodologies.
• PMP or other Project Management certifications preferred
• Knowledge of general business software and aptitude to learn new applications; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
