NEVERDARK Studio is a brand new creative agency that specialises in crafting compelling trailers, CG Cinematics and through the line content for the video games industry.

We are seeking a talented, ambitious and highly motivated and talented Associate Creative Director to help inspire our teams, grow our accounts and lead our campaigns to new heights.

Formed as the newest arm of the RD Group (RD Content, RD Studios & NEVERDARK Studio), we are building an entirely in-house team, dedicated to delivering exceptional visual storytelling that brings our clients' games to life in creative and innovative ways.

Role Overview:

You will play a pivotal role in driving creative excellence within the video games marketing industry. You will collaborate closely with the Creative Director, manage and inspire cross-functional teams, and take creative and technical lead on projects of your own.

Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing animators, VFX artists, film directors, and other creatives, guiding them to create visually stunning and emotionally impactful campaigns.

Responsibilities :

• Collaborate closely with the Creative Director and Creative Services Director to define creative strategies, objectives, and vision for projects.
• Lead and inspire teams of animators, VFX artists, and film directors to ensure the delivery of high-quality cinematic trailers that capture the essence of the games.
• Actively participate in the ideation, concept development, storyboarding, and execution phases of projects.
• Lead by example, setting the tone for innovation, creativity, and excellence across all creative endeavours.
• Oversee the pitching process for new projects, contributing your passion for the video game industry to craft compelling and convincing pitches.
• Drive effective communication and collaboration between teams, ensuring everyone remains aligned with project goals.
• Mentor and provide constructive feedback to team members, fostering their growth and development.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to keep our creative work at the forefront of innovation.

Qualifications:

• A strong portfolio showcasing your creative work in the video games advertising industry, including cinematic trailers, CG visuals, or related projects.
• 5+ years experience within the creative field, with a significant focus on video game cinematic production.
• Proven experience in managing and leading creative teams, demonstrating exceptional leadership and motivational skills.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Maya, Unreal Engine, Unity, etc.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate creative concepts and strategies effectively.
• A deep passion for the video game industry and a strong understanding of its culture, trends, and audience preferences.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while juggling multiple projects and deadlines.
• A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to think creatively and strategically.

Salary: £40-45k p/a (DOE)
