Job description
Our client, a HealthTech company located in Utah, are hiring a Data Scientist to remotely join their team. The successful candidate will play a key role in advancing data analytics for the company’s AI model, with a focus on refining and optimizing their health and fitness platform.
Responsibilities:
As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible to assist in advanced data analytics of the performance of company’s AI model.
Explore and analyze large and complex datasets to uncover patterns, trends, and insights.
Engineer relevant features from raw data to enhance model performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to select features that contribute to business objectives.
Develop predictive and prescriptive models using machine learning algorithms.
Create clear and compelling visualizations to communicate complex data insights to stakeholders.
Conduct statistical analyses to test hypotheses and validate results.
Clean and preprocess raw data to ensure accuracy and completeness, as well as implement data-cleaning pipelines and workflows.
Skillset:
Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science or similar.
A minimum of five years of previous experience as a Data Scientist.
Proven experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning.
Proficiency in programming languages, including Javascript, Python, or R.
Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and database systems.
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
