Job description
Our client is seeking a Technical Writer for a 6+ month contract in Irving, TX. Will be working on an Onsite schedule.
Contract Duration: 6 Months
Required Skills & Experience
- Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence
What You Will Be Doing - Conduct thorough research and gather information from subject matter experts (SMEs) to understand the functionalities, features, and workflows of our software applications.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive user documentation, including user manuals, release notes, and training materials.
- Craft user-friendly content that is accessible and understandable to diverse audiences with varying technical expertise.
- Apply best practices in information architecture and document design to create well-organized, visually appealing, and easy-to-navigate documentation.
- Collaborate with developers, and other team members to ensure consistency and accuracy of information across all documentation and user interfaces.
- Maintain the company's documentation style guide and develop or refine writing templates for future projects.
- Explore and implement new and innovative ways to present technical information, such as through video tutorials, interactive guides, or knowledge base articles.
