Job description

Aerotek is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our growing team in Independence, MO.

Location: Independence, MO

Shift/pay: Sun – Wed or Wed – Sun 

• 7am – 7:30pm ($22.55)

• 7pm – 7:30am ($23.05)

Responsibilities 

• Operate and monitor assigned machinery according to established procedures and safety protocols.

• Set up, adjust, and calibrate machines for different production runs.

• Identify and troubleshoot machine malfunctions, performing basic repairs and adjustments.

• Maintain accurate production records and quality control documentation.

• Ensure a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous machine set up and troubleshooting experience 

• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical principles.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.

• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality control.
