This opening is for a full time Registered Nurse with the SD Department of Health, Office of Child and Family Services (OCFS) in Pierre, SD. The RN works in collaboration with a healthcare team that works under the supervision of a Public Health Nurse Manager. The position provides multiple public health services which may include but not be limited to:
Licenses and Certifications:
Licensed as a Registered Nurse to practice in South Dakota. Basic Life Support certification.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience in the nursing profession serving women, infants, and children. Candidate must have the knowledge, skills and abilities to work both autonomously and as a contributing and supportive member of a healthcare team. Must demonstrate professionalism, flexibility, and excellent customer service. Must be able to develop and maintain effective working relationships with clients and families, co-workers, and community partners. The ideal candidate will work cooperatively with his/her team to help achieve Department of Health public health strategic goals and will demonstrate a commitment to representing the Department of Health's mission, vision, and values.
