Job description
Clinical Lab Technologist. Bronx, NY. Perform complex/specialized Molecular Virology Tests for clinical use. Perform Multiplex PC RT PCR. Operate/troubleshoot molecular instruments for the detection of various viruses (COVID-19, HIV, HCV, HBV, HPV) & other pathogens (Chlamydia & Gonorrhea). Participate in molecular platform investigation & assay development. BS in Molecular Genetic Technology or Medical Technology req’d. Must qualify for NYS Clinical Lab Technologist license restricted to Molecular Diagnosis/Genetic Testing.
