We are looking for team members who will serve compassionately, contribute & collaborate, deliver quality and be accountable. What We Do: OhioMHAS operates regional psychiatric hospitals in six locations across the state that operate 365/24/7. Our specialized facilities provide short-term, intensive treatment to patients in both inpatient and community-supported environments. We also deliver comprehensive care to patients committed through the criminal justice system.

The Job Opportunity and Duties: What you will do: - Serve in a fundamental role as an interdisciplinary treatment team member for psychiatric patients creating and executing treatment plans
- Observe, evaluate, and record patient behavior, condition, & response to medication
- As charge nurse, initiate and direct psychiatric and nursing care for patients and provide support for nursing staff while promoting a positive and safe environment for recovery
- Contributes vital input on records, plans, and reports
- Facilitate patient group activities

You Also Need to Know: - Must be able to complete a 4 week (business days Monday-Friday) full time orientation
- May work weekends and holidays; may be exposed to communicable diseases and unpredictable patient behavior
- Training and development required to remain in the classification after employment
- Biennial renewal of licensure as registered nurse
