A data modeler, who understands healthcare/clinical data, data models and can ensure the new DWH being set up is created based on an extensible, industry standard."
- Understand the concepts of modern data warehouse, Data lake, ELT and ETL.
- Should have hands on experience on Azure Cloud
- Health care background with knowledge of various standards like HIPPA and HITRUST
- Should be a good listener, experience handling teams across various time zones.
- Strong data analytical skills, Data Architecture (Modeling). Experience with one or more standard ETL tools like SSIS, Azure Data Factory.
- Strong database development experience with SQL Server.
- Understand the concept of master Data Management (Master Patient Index), Data Masking,
- Strong Documentation and presentation skills.
- Experience with data modeling tools will be a plus.
- Experience with Scripting languages like Python, Scala etc. will be added advantage. Analyze all data warehouse architecture goals and provide support to all related initiatives.
- Experience in client communication & onsite-offshore coordination
- Familiar with datasets that any CRO has to work with (like EDC, Labs, Clinical Trials)
- Experience with Data standards: OMOP, SDTM, CDASH
- Familiarity with designing data models for use in RWE/HEOR/Clinical space will be an added advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the business analysts or subject matter experts to understand data requirements and build logical and physical data models.
- Experience in dimensional modeling and normalized data model designing. Experience in generating and maintaining data dictionary source to target data model mapping and DDL scripts.
- Strong experience in Healthcare domain
- Experience in any data modeling tool such as ErWin /IBM Infosphere Data Architect and model maintenance.
- Perform impact analysis on existing data model and inform the stakeholders Present the data model to reviewers to seek approval.
- Planning and supporting implementation of designed data structures by coordinating with DBA team and application development teams.
- To work on capacity planning activities with DBA teams during physical data model development.
- Experience in any RDBMS - Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience in using any healthcare industry data model (e.g. IBM UDMH) will be an added advantage.
