JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collect waste from work area
- Wash chalkboard
- Gather dirty erasers and supply clean erasers
- Dust, dust mop floors, wet mop floors, spot clean and vacuum rugs, runners etc., rotate runners, and clean stairways
- Wash glass, mirrors, light fixtures, wainscoting, railings, toilet fixtures, etc., clean restrooms, and stock dispensers. Wash and polish furniture, brass, etc.
- Maintain equipment and materials used to perform work in a clean and orderly condition
- Lock doors, close and lock windows, and turn out lights
- Report needed repairs to Group Leader or Foreman.
Job Requirements: Requires the use of simple writing, adding, and subtracting whole numbers; the carrying out of instructions; and the use of fixed gauges and direct reading instruments and devices in which interpretation is not required. Up to three months of effective experience.
