Position Summary:
The Shared Services Procurement Operations Analyst will be a member of PFG’s Shared Services Department team and will be exposed to all aspects of the business through experiential learning and mentorship opportunities. This individual will report directly to the Director of Shared Services located at our Denver, CO Campus. This position provides a great opportunity to gain exposure to a key function at PFG and gain excellent real-world experience.
People or Process Management Responsibility: Responsible for identifying, planning, implementing, and monitoring or companywide Procure to Pay (PTP) (Purchasing & Accounts Payable) & EDI best practices. This role plays an integral role in developing and documenting standardized procedures, best practices and gaining efficiencies. This includes possessing the skills to perform the functions listed below.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
- Serve as a liaison business analyst bridge between the PTP business functions & IT with EDI
- Understand and document how current procure to pay processes function.
- Assist in defining what right looks like regarding best practices in the PTP function
- Optimize the procure to pay EDI process collaboratively with IT, AP, Purchasing, Category Mgt and our EDI partner SPS Commerce.
- Collaborate to optimize pricing, receiving, remit, receiving, price confirmations, adjustments and advanced shipping notice, best practices.
- Ensure timely, accurate and efficient reporting and internal control monitoring.
- Proactively address EDI errors and vendor noncompliance to ensure a consistent and smooth data interchange.
- Drive consistency & simplicity across business segments utilizing different WMS and ERP systems.
- Assist in vendor EDI onboarding and business reviews
- Drive improvements in EDI integration volume and success rates
- Utilize goal/objective setting and measurement processes to drive improvement.
- Create and foster an environment that maximizes individual potential and values collective results.
- Continuous development of the department(s) & function(s) through key metrics
- Where appropriate maintain key relationships with operating companies to ensure service requirements are met
- Maintain weekly and monthly statistics.
- Establish training programs to achieve consistent process and performance standards across the department(s)
- Organize and lead special projects.
- Assist in acquisition due diligence and integration
- Travel may be required
- Other projects or duties as assigned.
- Bonus structure: 15%

Required Qualifications
· Accounting, Finance, Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience
· 2+ years of related experience
· Proficient with all Microsoft Office Suites
· High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
· Ability to prioritize and work on concurrent projects.
· SAP or ERP Procure to Pay System experience.
· Ability to work with large amounts computer data
· Proven experience working independently with quality in a complex environment
· Strong organizational, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
·This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test
Preferred Qualifications
· Foodservice/distribution experience.
· EDI experience
