Job description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Assistant/Associate Director of Undergraduate Admissions to join our team. In this role, you will play a key role in attracting prospective students and guiding them through the admissions process. You will collaborate with various departments to develop recruitment strategies and initiatives, evaluate applications, and represent our institution at recruitment events.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in undergraduate admissions or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of college admissions processes, trends, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with students, parents, faculty, and staff.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using admissions software and databases.
- Knowledge of FERPA regulations and commitment to maintaining confidentiality and privacy.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract and enroll a diverse group of undergraduate students.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and student leaders to identify effective recruitment channels and develop targeted messaging.
- Participate in recruitment events such as college fairs, high school visits, and virtual information sessions.
- Evaluate undergraduate applications, conduct interviews, and make admissions decisions in accordance with established guidelines.
- Serve as a resource for prospective students and families, providing guidance and support throughout admissions.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in order to develop innovative recruitment strategies.
- Collaborate with various departments to coordinate recruitment efforts and promote the institution.
- Assist with data analysis and reporting to track admission trends and measure the effectiveness of recruitment strategies.
- Stay informed about the institution's academic programs, campus life, and other opportunities to represent the institution to prospective students effectively.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information in accordance with FERPA guidelines.
