Job description
The Stroke Program and the Roxanna Todd Hodges Stroke & TIA Clinic at Keck Medicine of USC continues to expand. Greater support is needed to sustain the increased demands in research related activities and stroke prevention efforts. This individual’s roles will include, but not be limited to both clinical and regulatory activities including the prospective screening and enrollment of patients for study eligibility at multiple sites, maintaining source documents, data collection and preparation of reports, participation in required educational programs like CTSI, regulatory coordinator meetings, IRB workshops, and other administrative duties pertaining to the role. This role may also include the coordination of stroke community education events (seminars, health fairs, and sidewalk education) and promotion of healthy lifestyles in the prevention of stroke among Keck patients and the community and will act as a resource for program information. This role will require strong stroke program leadership and requires the development of new program initiatives.
The hourly rate range for this position is $30.62 - $32.00. Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree. Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education Minimum Experience: 1 year Minimum Field of Expertise: Administrative or research experience. Working knowledge of MS Office applications. Demonstrated effective communication and writing skills. Ability to multi-task and prioritize. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team as well as independently. Preferred Experience: 2 years Preferred Field of Expertise: Knowledge of medical environment and terminology.
