Job description

The Allen Law Firm, a leader in protecting the injured for generations, is seeking an experienced Receptionist to join our Mechanicsville, VA office for a temporary period lasting, at minimum, of 90 days . The work schedule for this role will be Monday - Friday from 8:30am - 5:00pm. The primary function of this position is to provide outstanding client service while handling inbound calls from prospective clients, in addition to managing the daily upkeep and presentation of the front desk and lobby areas.

In this role, you will:

• Assists clients and visitors at the office, notifying the appropriate individuals of their arrival, and generally providing them with a professional greeting and welcome.
• Manages phone calls effectively by directing callers to appropriate individuals, providing information (such as directions or contact information), and maintaining a professional tone and high level of courtesy and service.
• Utilizes tools and systems appropriately to manage calls, communicate with other receptionists, track availability of employees, and log other pertinent information.

To be considered for this role, you will have:

• GED or High School Diploma.
• A minimum of one (1) year of office-based administrative experience, specifically in Receptionist role managing a multi-line phone system.
