We are currently looking for a Project Engineer to join our team!

The Project Engineer assists the project manager with the coordination and profitable outcome of every project. The Project Engineer will act as the onsite focal point of correspondence from internal and external entities having inquiries regarding specific items such as request for information (RFI), architects supplemental instructions (ASI) and other critical tasks.

Performance Objectives

• Keeps the project managers informed of all responses and pass on any/all issues that cannot be solved at the PE level.
• Responsible for the proper preparation, organization and electronic transfer of project paperwork to Project Coordinator for download into project management software.
• Coordinates equipment deliveries with jobsite foremen. Schedule delivery with Intel security regarding dates and times.
• Coordinates collection of operation and maintenance manual information for distribution to project Coordinator for assembly
• Copies vendors, subcontractors and internal customers with proposed changes, RFI's and ASI's
• Prepares and secures transmittal for all items sent from office.
• Attends head start meetings, turnover meetings, project management meetings, and production meetings as required
• Helps gather and assist PM in processing of "time and material" billings as required.
• Assists in monthly review for AIA billings
• Informs PM of monthly billing due dates
• Attends monthly projection meetings with assigned project manager
• Reviews specification sheets,
• Assist project manager in subcontractor control
• Orders and calls off rentals for assigned projects
• Fills out and logs daily plans of action "POA" and safety paperwork as required by Project manager

Essential Skills

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
