Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Recruiter in Spartanburg, SC . The Recruiter is responsible for finding prospective employees for various clients across multiple industries. You will be able to help job seekers establish a long-term career in the industry of their dreams.
Responsibilities of a Recruiter:
- Plans and fills recruiting requisitions by meeting with managers to discuss recruitment needs.
- Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
- Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, social media, job boards, and other internet sites.
- Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements, using various means, such as social media and job sites.
- Contacts potential applicants through various means, including phone, text, email, social media, or job boarding messaging
- Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviews applicants on consistent set of qualifications.
- Arranges candidate interviews or tours by coordinating with management schedules; may escort applicants to client sites.
- Skill markets top candidates to branch manager.
- Completes new hire orientations and employee onboarding.
- Participates in branch job fairs.
- Meets weekly KPI targets.
- Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; emphasizing benefits and perks.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
- Accomplishes human resources and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Job Requirements of a Recruiter:
REQUIRED Experience and Education:
- Must be proficient with telephone usage and etiquette
- Must be proficient with computer systems, most notably Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- 1 years industrial staffing experience
- 3 years in any type of staffing (preferred)
- Must have above-average communications skills
- Must be comfortable working with people in both private and group settings
- Must support diversity
- Must have ability to comprehend and stay up to date on employment law
- Seeking motivated, energetic, and positive-minded applicants!
- Teamwork is absolutely essential, must be comfortable performing with a team in a positive and organized manner
- Heavy administrative experience
- Strong typing and computer skills
- Above average organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to easily switch task or interrupted and pick up their work where they left off
- Must have minimum education of a High School Diploma or GED (Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred)
