Location: Fort Lewis College, Durango Colorado

Position Summary:

The Purchasing Specialist assists the Purchasing & Contracts Director with a variety of professional duties involved in the ethical procurement and contracting of materials, supplies, services and equipment for college departments and operations. Assists in developing bid specifications, opens and awards bids. Performs a wide variety of responsible and complex administrative duties for the department. Provides information and assistance to all college departments regarding fiscal rules, policies and procedures. The Purchasing Specialist assists in the management of College P-Card program, maintains surplus, disposition and asset management, and serves as primary related to materials handling duties including shipping and receiving functions.

Compensation

The salary is $42,500, per year, plus a  comprehensive benefits package.
