Job description
Our client is a start-up company which have successfully developed a ground-breaking and significant solution for acne sufferers. Their plight is to create an alternative treatment for patients which significantly reduces side effects and most importantly creates a durable response for a more long-term solution.
Due to their growth, they are now seeking a Medical Device Service Technician to join their agile team of experienced in-house engineers and third-party contracted service organisation to support and maintain the company's laser systems in the US and worldwide. In doing so, you will work closely with customers and clinical trial partners, as well as the company's commercial team, to better understand clinical applications, resolve field issues, and provide technical support.
Key responsibilities:
Manage maintenance of the company's laser systems.
Train and assist third-party contracted service providers.
Support and train global distributors in maintaining the company's laser systems.
Offer technical assistance to customers, diagnosing both simple and complex issues over the phone.
Provide support for sales demonstrations, trade shows, and clinical in-services as required.
To be considered for the role, you must closely match the following criteria:
Associate degree in electronics, electro-optics, or equivalent experience.
Previous work experience as a biomedical, laser, or electronic technician within regulated settings like FDA, ISO, or MDSAP.
In-field service engineering experience would be a benefit.
Proficient in communication, both verbal and written.
Capable of collaborating effectively within a team and establishing robust professional relationships.
