Registered Nurse (RN) Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
Registered Nurse (RN) Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) is needed in Gainesville, FL.

Salary and Benefits
- Hourly Rate- $31.89 - $44.88
- Nights Diff: $4.25
- Weekend Diff:$3.00

Responsibilities
- Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation.
- Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team
- Analyze the assessment data to determine the diagnosis or issues.
- Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient and the situation.
- Act as an advocate for patient safety.
- Ensure effective care and use of time, supplies, and equipment.
- Educate patients regarding their medications, procedures, and treatments, providing patients and their families with support throughout their stay.
Requirements:
- Associate degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing Required, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required.
- BLS-American Heart Association BLS Provider issued card required.
- ACLS-American Heart Association ACLS Provider issued card required.
- PALS-American Heart Association PALS Provider issued card required.
- ASPAN preferred.
- 1 year experience in Critical Care (ICU, CVICU, MICU or PACU) required.
- Manage hemodynamic monitoring experience required.
- Titrate pressers, sedation, heparin, insulin drips based on protocol experience required.
- On call: Nights and 2 weekend days per month for a total of 5-6 call shifts per month in addition to regular shifts.
