**Job Title: Accounting Manager**

**Location: Rockville, Maryland (Hybrid Remote Work)**

An exciting opportunity awaits for an experienced and talented Accounting Manager to join our team in Rockville, Maryland. This role offers a hybrid work environment, allowing you to work from home two days a week. We are seeking a skilled professional with a strong background in accounting and proven leadership capabilities.

**Responsibilities:**

- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting department.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including month-end and year-end closings.
- Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and analysis.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial assets.
- Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices.

**Requirements:**

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting.
- At least 3 years of experience in a senior-level accounting or management role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- CPA designation is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
