Job description
Manager, Factory Compliance
Protect the company's interests by ensuring that factories producing Kohl's merchandise comply with Kohl's Terms of Engagement and local law and are focused on supply chain sustainability. You are passionate about aiding business partners in making well-informed decisions and executing efficient strategies. Quality assurance and process improvement initiatives invigorate you, and you find fulfillment in leading, developing, and motivating teams.

Develop or re-design processes to systematically minimize error, increase productivity, and reduce expense
•
Assures quality and precision in research and analysis
Manage kohl's social compliance program
•
Develops and manages Kohl’s social compliance process/procedures
•
Develops and implements new social compliance policies, as needed, to reduce social compliance risks
•
Maintains a system to analyze risks and improve the effectiveness of the compliance monitoring program
•
Trains Product Development and Merchants to improve their understanding of their role in social compliance
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
•
Effective leadership and coaching skills
•
Knowledge of social compliance principles, procedures, and issues
•
Knowledge of product sourcing and supply purchasing processes
•
4-year degree in a related field or equivalent experience
•
Strong analytical skills and experience with developing and implementing process improvements
•
Ability to identify/prioritize risks and apply the appropriate sense of urgency to resolution
Preferred
•
Retail industry experience
•
Supervisory experience
Special requirements
•
Advanced expertise in applicable areas of business focus or specialization
