Job description

TITLE : Manager
LOCATION : Maryland Heights, MO

JOB SUMMARY: Manage team responsible for the development, support, troubleshooting, and automation of Spectrum Mobile biller isolation, Credit and Fraud Services, and enterprise-level web services for Backend Mobile Platform. Coordinate with vendors and internal support teams on problem resolution, defects, design issues, and upgrades. Lead team and implement processes to improve the codes, tests. Debug new software and enhance existing software with little to no assistance. Mentor and coach team for quality delivery of work in a timely manner. Communicate to leadership teams on various topics including project status and issues in the team. Develop technical documentation such as design documents, run books, and standard operating procedures. Assist with the development and implementation of strategies for migration, consolidation, and upgrading of system components. Responsible for compliance with company engineering standards, policies, and procedures.

EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; 4 years of experience designing, coding, developing, and testing using Java and J2EE; 4 years of experience using Microservices to build applications; 4 years of experience using SQL and NOSQL to manage data and database operations; 4 years of experience using Spring Boot to build and develop enterprise web applications; and 2 years of experience managing a team of software developers. A hybrid (in office and remote) work arrangement is available.
