Position Overview
At Aurora Flight Sciences, we design, build, and fly advanced aircraft and enabling technologies. We are searching for a talented and self-motivated Transformation Lead to help us advance the future of flight. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
Responsibilities
Lead assessments and analysis of our business and execution processes to identify improvement opportunities inclusive across business function, engineering, manufacturing, program management, and business development processes
Identify, highlight, and influence elimination of key barriers to initiative implementation and results
Develop analytics and recommended strategies for consumption by senior leadership
Coach individuals and teams through team-level LEAN opportunity identification, sizing, and implementation
Provide consolidated visibility of implementation progress an initiative identification and sizing to senior leadership
Develop detailed analytics to measure impact and ensure success of initiatives
Support functional teams with implementation
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in related field
Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience focused on transformation and operational efficiency identification and implementation
Key skills:
Demonstrated problem solving and analytical rigor, driving determination of objectives, approaches, and innovative solutions to operational and organizational improvement
Demonstrated experience leading project plan development and independently directing execution across multiple plans
Demonstrated ability to shape written and verbal communications to Senior Leadership and colleagues to influence buy-in for strategies and drive lasting change
Demonstrated history of identifying and successfully implementing rapid and significant improvement opportunities
Driving ownership of recommendations
Endless curiosity, willingness to challenge the status-quo
Preferred Requirements
MBA
10+ years of experience
Aerospace design and manufacturing industry direct experience executing key skills
LEAN implementation experience
Management Consulting experience focused on operational efficiency, business process redesign, restructuring, and strategy development
Physical Requirements
Salary Range (Annualized USD)
Minimum Range: $96,000.00 to $170,000.00
Maximum Range: $117,000.00 to $209,000.00
