We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Accountant who possesses a strong background in auditing, mergers, and acquisitions (M& A), construction accounting, and proficiency in Deltek Vision software. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various financial aspects of our organization, including auditing financial records, facilitating mergers and acquisitions, overseeing construction-related financial activities, and utilizing Deltek Vision software for efficient financial management.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular audits of financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Identify areas for improvement in financial processes and implement necessary changes.
- Prepare audit reports detailing findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
- Assist in the financial analysis and due diligence process for potential mergers and acquisitions.
- Collaborate with legal and financial teams to evaluate financial risks and opportunities associated with M& A transactions.
- Participate in negotiations and integration processes post-acquisition.
- Oversee financial aspects of construction projects, including budgeting, cost tracking, and financial reporting.
- Analyze construction-related financial data to ensure projects are completed within budget and on schedule.
- Work closely with project managers and construction teams to optimize financial performance and mitigate risks.
- Utilize Deltek Vision software to manage various financial functions, including budgeting, forecasting, and project accounting.
- Customize and optimize Deltek Vision software according to organizational needs.
- Provide training and support to staff members on the effective use of Deltek Vision software.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Generate financial reports for management and external stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Assist in preparing financial documents for audits and regulatory filings.
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field. CPA designation preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and financial management, with a focus on auditing, mergers and acquisitions, and construction accounting.
- Proficiency in Deltek Vision software is required.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
