PassionHR is seeking to hire an experienced Senior Field Technician to work part-time in Birmingham, Alabama. RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical Leadership : Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior field technicians, assisting them in resolving complex technical issues.

On-Site Support : Lead on-site technical support efforts, ensuring timely and effective resolution of client issues.

Advanced Troubleshooting : Handle escalated technical issues, including in-depth hardware and software troubleshooting for printers and personal computers.

Client Consultation : Act as a technical consultant for clients, offering insights into optimal system configurations, upgrades, and security enhancements.

Project Coordination: Lead and coordinate technical projects, ensuring successful implementation and client satisfaction.

Training and Development: Provide training and mentorship to junior technicians, fostering their professional growth and technical skills.

Documentation and Reporting: Oversee the documentation of all technical activities, producing detailed reports for clients and internal use.

Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure the highest standards of service delivery.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience : Proven experience in a senior technical role, with a focus on hardware and software troubleshooting, project management, and client consultation.

Technical Proficiency : Advanced knowledge of printer and PC hardware, software, networking, and cybersecurity principles.

Leadership Skills : Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a technical team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Project Management : Experience in successfully managing and executing technical projects from initiation to completion.

Communication : Excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical, to effectively interact with clients and team members.

Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex technical challenges.

Adaptability : Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and industry best practices, staying ahead of the curve in the IT and cybersecurity landscape.
