2024 Harvest Interns
We are looking for harvest interns for fall of 2024, with a serious emphasis on single-vineyard Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. We provide an all-around experience as part of our small team which includes all aspects of winemaking from vineyard sampling, sanitation, fruit intake and processing, fermentation management and adds, pressing and barreling for approx. 80 tons forecasted. Our winemaking approach is designed to best match the desired wine styles from diverse, well established and high quality vineyard sites. We use native fermentations and gentle techniques to craft elegant wines that reflect a sense of place that is respectful of the unique vintage conditions. We operate at a shared facility, and as such the right candidate must anticipate a great variety of tasks /learning potential within our winemaking team and through interactions with others, but must also get along well in this shared environment. A minimum of one prior harvest experience is required along with academic knowledge (either graduated or in process preferred) and the ability to work long hours. The position will start early-mid September, for approximately six to eight weeks into November. Forklift experience preferred but not required. We’re looking for people with a great attitude, who are passionate and team oriented individuals, with great attention to detail and with an emphasis on natural winemaking techniques, who wish to perfect their knowledge of the entire process.
