Premier Health Goup is a Detox/Residential Substance Abuse treatment company looking for a dedicated and compassionate Therapist ( LMFT/LCSW/LPCC/AMFT/ACSW/APCC ) to join our team in Newport Beach, CA. Our therapist is responsible for meeting with clients during their treatment. This individual will have a case load assigned to them and will be responsible for facilitating groups/lectures as well as one-on-one sessions. The responsibility of the position requires that this individual assist clients in recognizing that drug and alcoholism (substance abuse) is a disease. The goal is to motivate clients to actively participate in their own recovery process, assist them with learning skills, and help them improve their lives so they may live without drugs or alcohol.

Responsibilities:

Provide services and patient care for treatment of substance abuse, dual-diagnosis, and psychiatric, and/or emotional disorders

Work under pressure, communicate effectively, maintain a professional manner to clients, staff, visitors and groups

Assist with crisis intervention

Knowledge/experience in the Twelve Step Recovery Program

Knowledge of individual and group therapy modalities

Maintain positive and professional boundaries with clients, staff, physicians and visitors

Collect information about clients using techniques such as testing, interviewing, discussion, and observation

Prepare and maintain all treatment records and reports

Counsel clients individually and within a group setting to assist in overcoming dependencies, maladjustment and aiding them in making positive changes

Collaborate with other staff members to perform clinical assessments

Attend weekly Treatment Team staff meetings

Act as client advocate to coordinate required services

Ongoing evaluation of client's physical /mental condition based on review

Required license or certification:

LMFT/LCSW/LPCC/AMFT/ACSW/APCC

Other requirements:

Full COVID vaccination

Willing and able to commute to our Newport Beach, CA location.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000 - $100,000 Depending on credential and experience.
