Job description
Solstice Consulting Group is seeking a Aftermarket Service Manager (HYBRID) for an energy-related client.
- Base salary up to $125k DOE plus 15% bonus opportunity, company vehicle, and benefits
- Role is REMOTE with 25% travel within NM/West Texas Region
- 10+ years oil and gas operations experience including aftermarket service and sales experience
- Strong understanding of oil and gas production process equipment, fired equipment, including flares/combustors and automation equipment.
- Recent experience with Upstream/Midstream clients required.
The Aftermarket Service Manager will be well versed in servicing fired or heated equipment optimization solutions (applying to line heaters, treaters, combustors, production flares, reboilers, etc.) and knowledgeable in burner management solutions applications. The Service Manager will have a good sense of managing customer relationships, both in the field and office. This position will directly oversee the NE Field Service team and ensure they can undertake the tasks they are presented.
Responsibilities:
- Manage aftermarket service team to execute to a high degree of accuracy.
- Oversee the P&L for the service team and ensure proper job execution.
- Sell AMS into existing known accounts.
- Develop new aftermarket service/look outside current capabilities to grow new business.
- Follow AMS sales strategy and process.
- Communicate effectively with operations to ensure customer satisfaction is delivered.
- Participate in developing and implementing sales strategies.
- Travel as required in the normal conduct of business.
- Build customer relations with positive service conduct.
- Stay abreast of the competition’s activity as well as any needed improvements of our business/operational practices or rates.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma and 10+ years’ experience in oil and gas operations (or related field)
- Working knowledge of natural gas gathering and process.
- Understanding of oil and gas production process equipment, fired equipment, including flares/combustors and automation equipment.
- 5+ years of supervisory experience and project management
- 3+ years experience working with Oil & Gas customers in a service and sales capacity.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft office, ERP, inventory tracking, etc.)
Specific Equipment Knowledge:
- Knowledge of automated, non-fired production equipment.
- Knowledge of midstream equipment, compression, and roustabout activities.
- Knowledge of fired production equipment.
- Knowledge of flares, combustors, and burners.
- Knowledge of BMS systems.
