A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A RE-ENTRY SPECIALIST

As a Re-entry Specialist on our amazing human services team, you work Monday through Friday during normal business hours. Working directly with those impacted by the criminal justice system, you provide guidance and support for their re-entry into society. You help them find good things to do in the community and connect with positive people and resources. You talk to them honestly and listen carefully to what they have to say, and you give them advice about different options they have. But you also make sure they understand that you're their mentor, not their buddy.

Your main goal is to make sure your clients do well and learn to take responsibility for their actions. You keep track of your conversations with them and write reports about what you talk about. But don't worry, you're not alone in this. You have a whole team behind you, including other mentors, the clients' families, and external organizations.

All in all, it feels pretty good to be part of a team that's all about making people's lives better! So if you're ready to hustle and make a positive impact on those around you, apply today!
