JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW:


Responsible for new business development, client communication plans, client interfacing, and logistical coordination of provider engagements and partnering with D&Y Sales & Recruiting Leadership to ensure appropriate resource allocation to meeting the client staffing need(s) within a specified multi-state territory.



BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


• Engage with D&Y sales leadership in strategic planning and market analysis to ensure long term divisional growth that meets organizational goals for the commercial market within the assigned territory.


• Execute inside sales strategies within assigned territory in order to procure new client agreements.


• Perform prospect engagement and development activities to include customized physician placement solutions, aide in strategic planning, and identifying physician openings.


• Partners with Business Development Director as applicable to engage prospective client leadership to procure new client contracts.


• Collaboration with marketing team to attract prospective clients via social media, trade shows, networking events, and other areas as identified.


• Collaborates with Sales Leadership on price evaluation to gain competitive advantage in marketplace.


• Maintain accurate engagement records of prospective clients and sales pipelines within company CRM for tracking of monthly results to performance of sales activity metrics.


• Responsible for achieving monthly KPI (key performance indicator) requirements on a consistent basis.


• Prepares weekly business activity report and other reports as requested by Sales Management.


• Ability to negotiate contract terms and rates with prospective clients at different levels of leadership.


• Review and follow-up on information sources (journals, periodicals, internet, social media, etc.) on a regular basis to identify trends/changes in healthcare in general and in specific territory.


• Keep abreast of changes in the locum tenens industry and with what competitors are offering to business clients.


• Provide weekly report of activities and other reports as requested by sales management.


• Client engagement and development activities to include: customer satisfaction, problem resolution, and client retention if requested by sales management.



CLIENT SERVICE ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


• Performs as the initial point of contact for client locum requirements to achieve consistent, managed expectations and delivery of service and to introduce RM/SC team


• Partners with RM/SC/Client to identify mutual strategies to better service and support client requirements (i.e. licensing out-of-state physicians, credentialing secondary candidates for coverage that is more complete, etc.).


• Identifies opportunities within client organization to provide potential operating/process efficiencies and partners with D&Y sales management to move related recommendations forward.


• Proactively tailors and executes communication plan to clients in partnership with Recruiting Managers and Staffing Consultants to achieve expected results.


• Identifies on-going and intermittent staffing needs of client and coordinates with D&Y Sales Management to allocate appropriate recruiting resources and ensure recruiting plans are executed.


• Achieve budgeted Territory growth expectations


• Manages client-staffing schedules (as applicable) and ensures timely delivery of candidate presentations for identified client vacancies.


• Works with Recruiting Managers and Staffing Consultants to foster conflict resolution and relationship management regarding service and quality issues pertaining to client accounts.


• Coordinates with RM/SC/Client and D&Y credentialing resources to ensure providers receive hospital privileges by specified assignment start dates.


• Generates and distributes reports internally (to D&Y and client leadership) relating to mutually defined staffing metrics.


• Maintains accurate engagement records of existing clients and accurate client site visit records within company CRM.


• Performs special projects and other duties as needed that may be assigned by Sales Management

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:


• Four-year college degree in business administration or related field and/or equivalent professional experience.


• One (1) to three (3) years of experience in account management-related role, preferably healthcare related.


• One (1) to two (2) years of experience of direct healthcare staffing experience in the locum tenens industry desired.


• Excellent computer skills with intermediate level of experience with Microsoft Word and Excel and an ability to learn new computer applications.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

PHYSICAL / ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:


• Job is performed in a well-lighted, climate controlled modern office setting.


• Occasional lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs.


• Moderate bending and standing.


• Prolonged sitting.


• Extensive telephone usage.


• Extensive work with computer/PC.


• Moderate to high level of stress.


• Travel as required for business purposes (approximately 25-30%).


• This position may require manual dexterity and/or frequent use of the computer, telephone, 10-key, calculator, office machines (copier, scanner, fax, etc.) and/or the ability to perform repetitive motions and/or meet production standards to comply with the essential functions. Also, may require physical and/or mental stamina to work overtime, additional hours beyond a regular schedule and/or more than five days per week.
