Position Summary

This is a traveling Technician and could service Customers in HI, Southern CA, AZ, UT, WA, and NV. When not traveling to these locations, this Technician will work in Northern CA, from Fremont to OR boarder to Reno, NV). Some travel will be by plane and some by company vehicle. Must be willing to travel up to 2 weeks out of the month. 

Are you mechanically inclined with a knack for hands-on work? Do you enjoy a flexible schedule and working independently, but also have the support of a team? The Equipment Service Technician is a remote based Customer facing employee, primarily working inside hospitals.  You will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing medical equipment used in surgical procedures, as well as providing installation support on complex mechanical , electro mechanical and electronic units.  

Individuals with experience working in Biomedical, HVAC repair, Mechanics, Maintenance, Construction Repair, Refrigeration, Boilers, Chillers, Equipment Repair, Diesel and Automotive Repair, Aviation Repair, Plumbing, etc. are often successful. This job is approximately 60% plumbing/ mechanical and 40% electrical.

This is a remote based Customer facing position. To  support and service our Customers in this assigned territory, candidates must be based out of one of the following states: California

Pay range for this opportunity is $49,551.85 - $69,298.32.This position is eligible for bonus participation. 

Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed.  Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.

Employees are covered by an employee assistance program (also available to household members) and long-term disability. Full-Time Employees are also eligible for short-term disability.  Full-time Employees will also receive Paid Time Off (PTO) based on years of service and paid Holidays. Part-time employees working 20 or more hours receive a pro-ration of the full-time PTO allocation and paid Holidays based on their standard hourly work week. Full-Time employees are eligible for four weeks of paid parental leave. Part-time employees also receive paid parental leave, pro-rated based on their standard hourly work week.
