This position will work Tuesday-Friday 7:00 am-5:00 pm and Saturday 8:00 AM- 4:00 PM. Sunday and Monday off.The Dispatcher is responsible for radio dispatch functions, client scheduling, and associated record-keeping duties. The dispatcher will seek areas for scheduling improvement and drive efficiencies in cooperation with the Director of Operations. The dispatcher will handle all incoming radio and telephone communication including advising vehicle operators and handling client inquiries including scheduling trips. Additional functions may include operational reporting and acting in the absence of the Director of Operations.

JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Experience:
At least one year experience as a vehicle operator and/or equivalent experience in dispatching or call center duties.
Education:
High School diploma required.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
Valid Ohio, Kentucky, or Indiana Driver License

BCRTA is a political subdivision of the State of Ohio organized as a Regional Transit Authority under Ohio code. BCRTA acts as the designated recipient for Federal Transit Funds and provides public transportation services within and around Butler County, Ohio including Hamilton, Middletown, Fairfield, West Chester, Oxford, and Miami University. The BCRTA employs or directs around 120 transit employees and manages an annual budget over $7M. BCRTA is governed by a nine-member Board of Trustees.
