About the Role:
BetterMynd is seeking a Growth Marketing Manager to join our high-growth, impact startup that is helping to improve the mental health of America's college students.
We are seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Growth Marketing Manager to join the scrappy and agile Marketing team at BetterMynd. Reporting to the VP of Marketing and GTM Operations, the Growth Marketing Manager will own the development and execution of the lead generation and growth strategy that supports our revenue (B2B) and platform utilization (B2C) goals.
We are looking for someone who loves startup life, can roll up their sleeves, try new ideas, move quickly, and help the company and our campus partners grow. You will have a deep understanding of marketing automation, lead nurturing, and customer acquisition best practices.

Key Responsibilities
- Work cross functionally to develop annual and quarterly B2B (revenue) and B2C (student platform usage) growth marketing strategy and plans
- Manage and optimize all aspects of the demand generation process, including lead generation and lead nurturing
- Develop and execute compelling multi-channel campaigns that drive traffic, leads, and pipeline growth
- Create and implement in-platform marketing campaigns that get – and keep – users highly engaged
- Manage and maintain B2B and B2C social media strategy, presence, and communications
- Responsible for project managing and executing events including proprietary webinars and industry conferences
- Owns Marketing Ops with a handle on all systems and platforms, including website (WordPress) and HubSpot (administrator and ultimate “owner”)
- Analyze marketing data and database to identify trends and opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Campus Success, and Product, to ensure alignment and success
- We're a startup(!) – so other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years or more experience in digital marketing, demand/lead gen, content marketing, SEO, SEM, and Social Media marketing (paid and organic)
- Subject matter expertise in all things lead and demand creation
- A HubSpot/Marketing Automation platform pro
- Able to develop and maintain ongoing data quality and lead hygiene processes
- Familiarity with tools such as Canva, Figma
- Experience creating and maintaining websites within a CMS (WordPress preferred)
- Experience working closely with Sales and Campus Success teams, able to represent marketing effectively
- Flexible, self-starter with a start-up background
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and analytical skills
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple outsourced resources
- Able to pick up new skills quickly
- Excellent at managing and removing ambiguity
Preferred Qualifications
- Early-stage (Seed to Series A) startup experience, ideally as one of the first 10-20 employees
- Design chops/execution – you're an “all-in-one" campaign creator
- Experience with education technology (EdTech) products/solutions
- Comfortable working within Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google Ads
Location
- Remote in the United States
- Travel ~2x year for company-wide meetings/retreats
Compensation
- $80k-$85K base + potential for performance-based bonuses; health & dental benefits; unlimited PTO; employee equity
