Job description

Our client, a distinguished contractor specializing in professional service deliverables for the federal government, is actively seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Operations (DOO) to lead and optimize day-to-day operations. The primary work site is located in Tysons Corner/McLean, with occasional visits to client teams in the DMV area and potential travel to remote CONUS work sites. This role typically requires a minimum of two to three days in the office.


Role Overview:


As the Director of Operations, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence. Key responsibilities include:

Qualifications:

Experience: The ideal candidate should have a minimum of five to ten years of proven experience in overseeing operations for federal government contractors, managing a workforce of 50-70 employees. Ideally, the candidate's background should be in science and engineering-based professional services companies.
