Responsibilities
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you are joining a multidisciplinary team of product managers, designers and engineers who create digital products that hundreds of thousands of people experience every day. Your primary responsibilities will be,
- Designs, Develops and Maintains Infrastructure and backend applications on our AWS, GCP and Azure multi cloud environments for all the Digital Applications as part of Digital DevSecOps Team.
- Help Automate and Streamline Operations and Processes for faster, secure deployments.
- Work with the team of DevOps Engineers and provide technical assistance when needed.
- Manage and Build CI/CD tools/Pipelines and Collaborate with Dev, QA and other teams.
- Work Closely with other DevOps engineers in the team and lead the initiatives on own supporting the DevOps Roadmap.
- Deep Understanding of AWS cloud services and architecture.
- Build and Maintain tools for deployments, Security Patching and Vulnerability Management, and Change Safety.
- Experience of installing, configuring, and maintaining DevOps tools and technologies such as Gitlab CI, Azure DevOps, CircleCI, Jfrog Artifactory and other AWS native services.
- Experience working on Containers and Kubernetes platform.
- Develop validations for end-to-end system verification and configuration management.
- Experience with Linux Infrastructure, Database Sql and No Sql, Configuration management, development languages like Go, JavaScript, Python, Perl, Ruby, PHP.
- Experience with leading and participating in Scrum/Kanban, AGILE workflow technologies and using JIRA, Confluence and OneDrive.
- Work closely with RunOps team to support automation for Production issues and leverage scalability with DevOps practices.
- Experience with RCA’s, Monitoring and Alarming in all environments and familiar with tools like Datadog, New Relic, Dynatrace, Splunk, ELK stack.
- Work cross-functionally with the various teams in the organization and help establishing the SLOs and then help teams consistently achieve those SLOs.
Educational & Required Qualifications
- Bachelors/ Masters Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- AWS (Amazon Web Services) Certification/GCP Certification/Azure Certification is a plus.
- 7+ years of experience in Cloud computing and design.
- 7+ years of working experience in cloud platforms, micro-services architecture, CI/CD solutions, containers, DevOps principles, automation & configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
- Must have AWS experience including working on Lambda functions, EKS, ECS, Fargate and other services,
- Must have knowledge of Terraform, Ansible or other IaC tools.
- Must have good knowledge to build a scalable infrastructure in the cloud.
- Must have a good knowledge of database management.
- Hands-on development experience using Python, Node.js, or Java.
- Good knowledge in Git repository & versioning strategies.
- A thorough understanding of System administration.
- Experience with Linux required.
- Ability to work in an Agile/SCRUM environment.
- Well organized with a bias for action with minimal direction.
- A team player with a start-up/entrepreneurial mindset.
- Ravenous about learning technology and problem solving.
- Effective communication skills.
