Job description

Staff Management Group is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our client in Clifton, NJ.

Job Description:

Troubleshoot, problem solve, and perform repairs on various equipment as needed. Focus on identifying and minimizing machine downtime and Quality rejects. Assist in training machine operators in setup/operation of equipment. Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on equipment as scheduled and directed.

Responsibilities:

• Perform setup of various types of filling, packaging, and processing equipment.
• Perform facilities upkeep and maintenance tasks as directed.
• Document/report maintenance and repairs as performed.
• Maintain all equipment to achieve optimal performance and production efficiency.
