Environmental and Safety Solutions, Inc. is searching for an experienced EHS manager for an employer in West Chester, Ohio and operations in the greater Cincinnati area. The right candidate will be supporting a Fortune 500 company’s EHS team in cutting-edge manufacturing processes. This candidate should be proficient in construction safety.

 

  To do this, you will need to be:

• Self-motivated and self-directed
• MUST have Industrial Experience
• Responsible for managing daily EHS tasks for a 200-person manufacturing site
• Ensure compliance tasks related to site environmental and building compliance are accomplished in a timely manner
• Expertise in safety programs including combustible dust, electrical safety, machine guarding, DOT regulations, emergency preparedness and response, and cranes
• Strong working knowledge of incident investigation and OSHA recordability
• Strong working knowledge of EHS management systems such as Gensuite
• Conduct EHS training as required on electrical safety, LOTO, Hazardous Materials, and respirator use
• Hazardous waste management
• Preferably – a background in Machine Hazard Risk Analysis, guarding, combustible dust, and powdered metals.
• Competent in construction safety a plus

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in occupational safety or industrial hygiene is required.
• A master's degree in either is a huge plus.

  Certification:

• While certification is not required, it is truly desired.
• Occupational Safety and Health Technician, Associate Safety Professional, Industrial Hygienist in Training, Certified Safety Professional, and Certified Industrial Hygienist are excellent gateways to this position.
• CHST a plus

You will be working with a highly educated and motivated work team and plant employees. Excellent computer skills, writing skills, and verbal communication skills are necessary.
