We have a day shift*  It Field Technician  position *available. Configures and installs various IT equipment. Also administers some of said equipment post-install. Working knowledge of Windows OS and MS Office. Knowledge of client PC connectivity-Ethernet, TCP/IP and VPN. Experience with PC hardware, printers, scanners, computer peripherals, mobile devices (iOS, Android). Experience operating scissor lift and boom lift. Experience operating forklift preferred

Key Functions

• Installs various forms of cabling needed for IT equipment
• Configures IT equipment such as phones, computers, cameras, etc prior to installation
• Installs and tests IT equipment such as phones, computers, cameras, door controls, etc
• Installs, tests, upgrades, and configures workstations, peripheral equipment, and software as assigned.
• Coordinates referrals to outside technical or service personnel and assists those personnel in areas related to physical installations.
• Acts as a central point of execution for all IT related purchases as approved by IT Director.
• Maintains areas of operation in a safe and sanitary manner. Makes effective use of and makes recommendations on physical assets. Determines that established safety rules, Company policy and good housekeeping are followed.

Other Duties

• Coordinates with other departments to assure cooperation and timely completion of projects. Communicates and cooperates with others to maintain productive and harmonious working relationships.
• Occasionally drives own or company vehicle in performance of some job duties.
• Participates in training, employee meetings, committees, project teams, etc. as appropriate.
• Receives written and verbal instructions on the above job tasks and performs other duties as directed by Supervisor.
