Job description
Kforce client located in Waukesha, WI is seeking an experienced Order Processing Administrator to join their fast-paced team to support the Global division account management staff. The successful candidate will be very detail oriented and proficient with data entry and will also be responsible for handling correspondence with client and vendors to keep projects on track. This is a hybrid schedule and open to temp to hire or direct hire/permanent.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze incoming orders for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company policies
- Analyze and understand HTS codes, import duties, and tariffs
- Interpret proforma invoices, wire transfers, bills of lading, commercial invoices and packing lists
- Monitor the progress of orders throughout the processing cycle, from creation to fulfillment and delivery
- Proactively identify and address potential delays or issues
- Collaborate with multiple departments, including sales, customer service, and logistics, to resolve order-related discrepancies or concerns
- Keep customers informed about the status of their orders and provide timely updates weekly
- Identify and troubleshoot issues that may arise during order processing, such as inventory shortages, pricing disparities, or shipping discrepancies
- Maintain organized records of all order-related communications, changes, and updates
- Ensure proper filing and easy accessibility of documentation for future reference
- Offer exceptional customer service by addressing high-volume inquiries regarding order status, shipping details, and product availability
- Develop a process to receive for incoming sample documentation to elevate efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction
- Identify and help to implement cost reduction opportunities within the logistics umbrella
