Director of Children’s Ministry – Part Time
National Heights Baptist Church continues a heritage of strong Bible study, serving our community, supporting missions, praising the Lord though song. We pray, give, serve, sing and “go” locally, nationally, and internationally.
Our congregation, primarily the ‘seasoned’ demographic, is already dedicated to service through a variety of methods. At the same time, we are prepared and eager to extend our reach deeper into our community in potentially new ways that meet our neighbors’ needs and make the most of our congregation’s talents and gifts to grow into a multi-generational church.
National Heights Baptist Church has a solid foundation of faith and is excited to be welcoming a new pastor Mr. Chad Pollett this summer. We are poised and ready for the next season our Father has in store. We would love for you to join our community!

Primary Position Responsibility:

• Assisting the church staff and members in planning, conducting and evaluating a comprehensive children’s ministry for the church.
• Oversee the children’s ministry team including volunteers and curriculum.
• Oversee the children’s ministry budget

Qualifications:

• A strong christian growing in their walk with the Lord
• Experience with early childhood education ages birth- 5th grade.
• Evaluating curriculum and planning/organizing program
• Experience with both traditional and special needs education techniques and classroom management.
